Job Description

An Accounting Specialist is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Process all incoming invoices/credit memos using scanman and E1
• Provide timely and accurate payments by processing weekly accounts payable checks, wires and ACH payments according to terms, capitalizing on discounts.
• Processing incoming mail through the electronic email system
• Reconciles, records and pays weekly credit card report
• Reviews and prepares weekly expense reports according to company policy
• Input credit and debits to the accounting system for payables
• Reconciles general ledger accounts for accurate balances
• Analyzing workflow processes and problem-solving
• Develop and maintain regular reports via the company’s accounting system
• Assist with front desk duties
• Maintains office supplies and conference rooms
• Other duties as assigned

Shift: 7:30am-4pm Mon-Fri

Qualifications

• B.S. Accounting/Finance preferred (not required)
• 2-3 years experience in accounting
• Knowledge of accounting rules, regulations, policies, and procedures that is reflective of the financial services industry
• Working knowledge of Excel and exposure to automated accounting systems
