Maintenance E&I Technician
FULL-TIME
$46.83/hr
- Install, maintain, repair, overhaul, calibrate and test a wide variety of instrumentation (including but not limited to transmitters, actuators, environmental analyzers, sensors, Encoders, potentiometers, meters, tubing and control valves) for improved reliability and uptime.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and metering control instruments to include but would not be limited to control valves, transmitters, heat trace panels, cylinders, solenoid valves etc.
- Troubleshoots telemetry and process controller hardware, maintains a functional knowledge of the operation of the telemetry system software and hardware.
- Read, interpret and perform wiring tasks according to specifications and schematics for the installation and repair of Corrugated equipment.
- Troubleshoot PLC, and software and hardware, making recommendations and performing software changes.
- Troubleshoots, repairs and installs wiring circuits, transformers, motors, variable frequency drives, Servo drives, protective devices, control devices, and lighting system in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Safely work with a wide variety of precision hand and power tools related to field and shop work such as electronic and electric test equipment, etc.
- Work with other departments in the planning of and installation of new equipment and system upgrades.
- E&I Technicians perform a variety of maintenance related tasks in connection with the maintenance department to improve the reliability and uptime of equipment used in the Corrugating manufacturing process.
Schedule
Shift start: 6:00AM or 2:00PM or 10:00PM
Shift length: 8 hours
Monday - Friday, some OT and weekends
