Lead Electrical Engineer
We are in search of individuals who are passionate about robotics, motion, and the hardware and firmware that brings electronics to life. You'll be leading and collaborating with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of subject matter experts providing innovative approaches to tackle problems so unique, you might be the first to attempt them. You'll shepherd your creations from inception through the first power up, and eventually seeing your work fuse technology with art, building masterpieces that will mesmerize and enchant millions.
Candidates should have a solid level of proficiency in the following areas:
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering but preferably an MSEE.

Lead Electrical Engineer

- Experience developing custom firmware in C for various control applications
- Electrical engineering hardware design (voltage regulators, digital logic, communication transceivers)
- Experience in rapid prototyping and hardware bring up
- Leading a team of HW/FW/SW Engineers as well as Automation and Controls Engineers
- Ability to direct electrical engineers and technicians on electronics manufacturing best practices
- PCB layout and schematic capture tools, preferably Altium
- Comfortable using low-level debugging tools (logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)
- Writing firmware on bare metal (no operating system) as well as systems utilizing embedded RTOS
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python)
- Embedded design using resource limited microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M0 )
- Development of test plans to including verification and validation
- Development of functional testers and work instructions to support production
- Unit testing framework (Ceedling, CUnit, CuTest, AceUnit)
- Experience with low-level protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, RS-485)
- Design analog front ends and circuitry to interface with precision instruments/sensors
- Control theory design and motor control experience
- EMI/RFI shielding, mitigation and filtering
