Seattle Food Tour Guide

Are you passionate about the vibrant history, culture, and landmarks that make Seattle unique? Do you enjoy sharing stories and connecting with people from all walks of life? If so, we have a great opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a guide to lead our food tours, with opportunities to learn other tours, including driving excursions.

As a WeVenture tour guide, you will be responsible for leading engaging and informative tours through the iconic neighborhoods and landmarks of Seattle. Your primary duties will include:

• Leading walking or driving tours while providing fascinating insights into Seattle's history, architecture, cuisine, and culture;
• Ensuring the safety and enjoyment of tour participants throughout the entire experience;
• Answering questions and interacting with tour participants in a friendly and approachable manner;
• Maintaining a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the diverse needs and interests of tour groups.

WeVenture Seattle aims to offer experiences where our guests can get off the beaten path and really connect with a destination. They can be as short as a couple of hours or as long as a whole day, but in every case our tours visit local places, meet local people, and help our guests understand what makes a place tick. Requirements:

• Must be available for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lead walking tours for extended periods.
• Openness to learn other tours, but with an initial focus on our food tour.

*Guide training is provided, so all are welcome to apply!

*Experience in customer service, community engagement, the hospitality/travel industry, and training in food, beer, wine, or spirits is a plus

*Fluency in another language is a plus
