Description
This position is part of the Maintenance / Engineering Group reporting to the Maintenance Department Manager and requires a candidate who is highly safety conscientious with a strong knowledge of good safety practices and behaviors exhibited as an active participant in achieving Department Safety Goals.
Hourly Pay Range $ - $
DUTIES :
- This position will provide clerical duties that primarily support daily maintenance and engineering functions.
- Working extensively within SAP Plant Maintenance and Accounting activities
- Ability to learn and cover the storeroom position, as a backup including ability to operate a forklift.
- SPOC / Safety Observer for various maintenance projects
- Maintain various program spreadsheets and conduct monthly inspections.
- Coordinate necessary documentation for projects.
- Work within our management system to update or create new documents.
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with vendors.
- Attend and represent the Dept on multiple committees.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to perform all tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
- Must be able to organize and plan priorities.
- Must have excellent time management, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to maintain files, drawings, project status information and Hot Work Process documentation.
- Must be able to perform accurate and timely data entry tasks as needed by the department.
- Must have good computer skills : Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project
- Must have good knowledge of the Management Systems and be able to develop job instructions as they relate to maintenance.
- Must be able to develop a good working knowledge of the SAP system.
- Must be able to generate work orders from the CMMS (SAP), Work Request System, and other forms authorized by management.
