Weyerhaeuser is searching for a Mill Manager to support our lumber manufacturing facility in McComb, Mississippi. This is a full-time, salaried exempt position reporting to the Lumber Manufacturing Director of the Gulf South Manufacturing region.
Our McComb operation is a random length sawmill primarily producing lumber up to 20 feet in length with some specialty related capacity. McComb, Mississippi is a small-town offering access to the great outdoors for hiking, camping, fishing and hunting. McComb is conveniently located 100 miles from New Orleans and 70 miles from Jackson for enjoying legendary music, major sporting events, college sports, museums, and nightlife.
As Mill Manager, you are responsible for the safe and reliable manufacturing and on-time/in-full delivery of products to customers and ensuring that business objectives are met for the site. You will also focus on fostering an engaged, people-focused culture, controlling product cost and inventory, and developing future leaders.

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $139,200 to $208,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 25% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target. Relocation package is offered for this role.

- At least 8 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment with proven record of positive accomplishments in safety, quality, productivity, cost and people development
- BS/BA degree required with MBA preferred
- Outstanding teaming and interpersonal skills that effectively engage teams to meet business goals, actively support individual and team growth/development, and ensure successful teaming/networking within the region, the Wood Products business and the company
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Demonstrated ability to raise performance by building and maintaining positive relationships with all associates and leaders through coaching, development and instilling a continuous improvement mindset
- Proven record to effectively engage associates in behavior-based safety techniques
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills
