Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR)

WHA is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. As the CSR, you will manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, provide exceptional service, and maintain strong relationships with our clients and underwriters.

Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience in commercial insurance account management or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance policies, regulations, and underwriting processes.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex insurance concepts to clients.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and insurance-related software applications; AMS360 experience preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managed a book of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring client retention, growth, and profitability.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, resolving concerns, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance client relationships.
  • Develop relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and analyze client insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals and renewal quotes to clients.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve client concerns and inquiries as requested.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the book of business, rounding out accounts as appropriate.
