WHALE is the first non-profit respite care facility in Greeley, Colorado, for children with disabilities. We are looking for a nurturing Food Service Worker to ensure that the daily nutrition of our students is met.

Food Service Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and serving a full range of food for school meals under minimal direct supervision.
  • Assist with all aspects of production and service of meals including cooking, line setup, replenishment, and documentation of meals served.
  • Clean all food preparation and service areas; label, date, and store leftover food.
  • Clean kitchen equipment, surfaces, and floors.
  • Comply with Health Department standards, all safety procedures, departmental policies and procedures and all applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Display exceptional customer service skills.
  • Attend work and arrive in a timely manner according to established schedules.
  • Attend all required departmental training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Specialized training beyond high school preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable
  • Criminal background check required for hire
  • Successful completion of First Aid and CPR

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Shift:

  • Day shift

Weekly day range:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

  • Greeley, CO 80634: Relocate before starting work (Required)
