We also offer licensure reimbursement and specialty trainings within the Mobile Crisis Intervention Services (MCIS) program and model.    The Crisis Clinician provides crisis assessment, intervention and stabilization clinical and case management services for children birth through age 17. The clinician will respond out in the community to provide crisis intervention services and safety planning. May work with emergency departments, inpatient units and congregate care providers to identify and coordinate crisis and diversionary planning for high needs youth in need of intensive community-based planning to prevent multiple admission to such settings and otherwise promote the use of MCIS to coordinate intensive plans for high needs youth.    $2,500 sign on bonus! Half upon hire and half at 1 year of service!   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Counseling, or Doctoral degree in Psychology. Valid Drivers License is required. Develops and documents, clear clinical formulations, crisis and treatment plans that are individualized and measurable, developed in collaboration with the client/family and others as relevant. Demonstrates knowledge of psychopathology, crisis theory and other behavioral health concerns and primary modalities of psychotherapeutic intervention. Triages clinical emergencies and implements program specific safety and consultation protocols. Utilizes best practices and evidenced based practice models where appropriate and adheres to model and program expectations. Provides mobile service in community settings outside of the office (e.g., homes, schools, hospitals, institutions, other community locations) as defined by the program. May transport clients to appointments or linkages as appropriate. Demonstrates knowledge of internal and external levels of care, referral processes and resources. Makes clinically appropriate referrals for identified service needs in a timely manner. Communicates in a positive, effective manner with client, family, and all internal and external providers. Attends any required meetings.   May work with emergency departments, inpatient units and congregate care providers to identify and coordinate crisis and diversionary planning for  high needs youth in need of intensive community based planning to prevent multiple admissions to such settings and otherwise promote the use of EMPS to coordinate intensive plans for high needs youth.   May participate in community based meetings and conference calls with emergency departments, inpatient units, congregate care providers, other EMPS providers and  the Department of Children and Families to assist in care planning and  to address system issues which may impact increased emergency department and inpatient unit utilization of high needs youth.   With assistance from Program Manager and other leadership, may coordinate with other EMPS team members to provide intensive follow-up care and stabilization to identify high needs youth. Meets direct service productivity goals as defined by program. Demonstrates knowledge of program/department/agency goals and target outcomes, and adheres to practice standards and to data collection and reporting protocols. Documents all client related information in compliance with agency policy and contractor requirements. Attends all EMPS trainings as required by the EMPS Performance Improvement Center. Attends and is prepared for scheduled supervision. Seeks additional supervision or consultation as needed and follows through with supervisory directives. Continues to develop knowledge and understanding about the history, traditions, values, family systems, and artistic expression of groups served as well as uses appropriate methodological approaches, skills, and techniques that reflect an understanding of culture.
