MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. Valid Driver's License
EXPERIENCE:
1. 5 years of commercial painting experience.

1. Conducts regular rounds of all areas of the hospital, office building, and support service buildings to identify needs for repair of paint, walls, and wall coverings.
2. Paints, patches and repairs wall coverings as required.
3. Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture
4. Maintains painting materials and equipment in good operating condition
5. Maintains an appropriate inventory of paint and supplies and obtains pricing for items to be ordered.
6. Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools.
7. Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions
8. Clean up all equipment, including brushes and spray guns

1. Performs physical activities that require moving one's whole body, such as in climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, where the activities often also require considerable use of the arms and legs, such as in the physical handling of materials.
2. Able to lift 50 lbs. minimum..
3. Able to stand up to 10 hours per day.
4. Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

2. Able to set priorities and function independently.
3. Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply them.
4. Knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques.
