Wheels Up is looking for a world-class Line Service Technician in to join our team of dedicated and passionate professionals, fueled by the most powerful brand in private aviation, as we continue our mission of democratizing the private aviation space through cutting-edge technology and innovative product and service offerings. 

 

The Line Service Technician maintains a high degree of safety and customer satisfaction by providing front-line customer service through aircraft and facility support.

 

Able to work Sunday - Tuesday every other Saturday from 7 PM - 7 AM

Responsibilities

  • Perform both public and non-public contact with crew members, pilots, and passengers.
  • Load and unload luggage, golf clubs, and some freight.
  • Clean, marshal, and push back aircraft by tug and/or hand.
  • Operate motor vehicles including various fuel trucks, aircraft tugs, belt loaders, de-ice trucks, and forklift.
  • Fuel aircraft in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform quality control checks on equipment and fuel.
  • Haul equipment as necessary to clean and/or maintain aircraft.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of safety and compliance related protocols including NATA and DPJ established processes and procedures.
  • Assist with all operational aspects of the fixed base operation and non-safety sensitive operations in the hangar.
  • Assist with parts inventory and paperwork.
  • Maintain and strive to exceed customer services standards.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and good will in all areas.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by the Manager of Fixed Base Operations, or higher authority.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Able to work Sunday - Tuesday every other Saturday from 7 PM - 7 AM
  • Good driving record.
  • Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis.
  • Ability to bend and/or squat repeatedly for aircraft operational hook up
  • Ability to de-ice aircraft using high pressure hoses.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Well groomed appearance and uniform standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Salary Range

The wage range for this position is determined on a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, such as differences in skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. This wage range has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with where the position may be filled. At Wheels Up, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Your placement within the wage range is primarily based on your qualifications and experience. 

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
