Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 / hour
- Plus commission.
Summary:
The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for booking private event functions from orientation to event, creating 5-star experiences for each and every client. He/she also supports the General Manager by completing tasks as directed.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue catering sales opportunities through networking, outreach, and relationship-building.
- Collaborate with the events team to create customized event packages tailored to the needs and preferences of clients.
- Conduct site visits and tastings with potential clients to showcase our offerings and facilities.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements to clients.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure all aspects of events, from planning to execution, are seamlessly executed.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and revenue forecasts.
- Consistently meets or exceeds event booking goals.
- Ensure superior execution of each event from start to finish.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in catering sales, event planning, or hospitality sales.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate client schedules and events.
- Knowledge of the local market and industry trends
