  • Must be willing and capable of developing, modifying, and building machinery that adheres to Whitcraft's Universal No's, and ensuring operator and part safety
  • Responsible for rapidly reproducing right size production-ready equipment throughout the shop
  • Able to research, understand and implement new technologies for possible cost savings and process improvements
  • Reads and interprets blueprints, symbols, and geometric tolerances based on military and commercial specifications
  • Capable of collaboration with all levels within the organization such as Operators, Engineers, Leads, Quality, EH&S, and Whitcraft's KPO
  • Must utilize Kaizen tools to support manufacturing processes and flow lines
  • Work with customers on quality issues, escapes
  • Help implement root cause and corrective actions
  • Support and participate in various roles throughout the shop such as Kaizen and 1S workshops, including performing flow line operations
  • Work with multiple site quality teams to create one quality system
  • Up to 50% travel to other Whitcraft sites

  • Must be self-motivated with a sense of urgency, resourcefulness and adaptability.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical components and machine design
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication & problem-solving skills.
  • Plan and coordinate Kaizen workshops for all facilities (Coordinate with teams, setup meetings, communicate logistics information, hotel reservations & group rates, etc)
  • Facilitate and support kaizen workshops online using Zoom & Power point
  • Record and archive the teachings from each workshop
  • Order materials to support the workshops
  • Audit Whitcraft’s Leader Standard Work at each facility
  • Ability to work independently
  • Minimum of High School or equivalent.
