- Must be willing and capable of developing, modifying, and building machinery that adheres to Whitcraft's Universal No's, and ensuring operator and part safety
- Responsible for rapidly reproducing right size production-ready equipment throughout the shop
- Able to research, understand and implement new technologies for possible cost savings and process improvements
- Reads and interprets blueprints, symbols, and geometric tolerances based on military and commercial specifications
- Capable of collaboration with all levels within the organization such as Operators, Engineers, Leads, Quality, EH&S, and Whitcraft's KPO
- Must utilize Kaizen tools to support manufacturing processes and flow lines
- Work with customers on quality issues, escapes
- Help implement root cause and corrective actions
- Support and participate in various roles throughout the shop such as Kaizen and 1S workshops, including performing flow line operations
- Work with multiple site quality teams to create one quality system
- Up to 50% travel to other Whitcraft sites

- Must be self-motivated with a sense of urgency, resourcefulness and adaptability.
- Strong understanding of mechanical components and machine design
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication & problem-solving skills.
- Plan and coordinate Kaizen workshops for all facilities (Coordinate with teams, setup meetings, communicate logistics information, hotel reservations & group rates, etc)
- Facilitate and support kaizen workshops online using Zoom & Power point
- Record and archive the teachings from each workshop
- Order materials to support the workshops
- Audit Whitcraft’s Leader Standard Work at each facility
- Ability to work independently
- Minimum of High School or equivalent.
