Job Summary
Oversee the district management of Production and support team in the delivery of installation and production management activities for a designated district. Responsible for the overview and Production strategy implementation. Direct and problem solve production issues for direct reports and staff. Development and implementation of Production strategies. Provide direction and guidance for district teams. Select, training, develop and oversee the Production team.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate Production and day to day functional activities.
- Communicate to district and regional leadership.
- Manage all district-wide Production strategy rollouts, budgets and goals.
- Collect data and submit reports as needed.
- Determine Production plans with manager, General Manager and Regional Leadership.
- Determine market opportunities for new products and services.
- Ensure Production activities are conducted within expense budget.
Nature and Scope
- Solutions require analysis and investigation.
- Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.
- Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.
Work Environment
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about. Occasionally there may be a requirement to stoop or lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7 years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
