Payroll Administration

Whitebirch Inc. is hiring for a full time year round experienced Payroll Administrator.  We are looking for a qualified Payroll Admin to assist in processing the payroll for the Company.    You will be experienced in entering data with high attention to detail and will have good math skills to make the necessary calculations.  You will be responsible for updating missing punches in our time and labor system, processing payroll records and ensure that employees are compensated correctly and on time.   The goal is to carry out all payroll related procedures with speed and accuracy.  Working hours are Monday - Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm.  We offer a competitive benefit package with medical, dental, vision, 7 paid holidays and paid time off with wonderful resort discounts!!

Requirements

Duties, Skills & Qualifications:

• Computer knowledge with payroll systems and software 
• Process attendance records and other important payroll related documents
• Check payroll information for accuracy and ensure all relevant paperwork is in order.
• Must be willing to undergo a background screening for this position
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Accurately check and verify time cards for supervisor approvals and audit time card records for payroll processing
• Prepare tip reporting to enter into payroll system
• Accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work independently in a time-sensitive and confidential environment
• Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating and entering data
• Resolves payroll discrepancies with employees
• Maintains payroll operations by following policies
• Prepares reports and check requests to fund payroll liability
• Must have at least 2 years of payroll experience  
• Coordinate with HR about changes in payroll (e.g. terminations, new hires, etc.)
• Other projects and duties as assigned by the Human Resource Manager
