What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN - Surgery position at Whitecap Search?
WCS Healthcare is currently partnering with one of Hudson Valley's Largest Medical Groups in search of full time Licensed Practical Nurses. We currently have openings for a Surgical Department in Katonah, NY to work day shifts!
- Assigns patients and physicians to exam rooms
- Prepares daily assignment for medical support staff
- Communicates with front desk staff as necessary
- Prepares the patient for exams and procedures
- Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets and physicians' instructions to patients
- Administers medications including all types of injections, IV therapy as needed and within the scope of licensure
- Provide basic patient care and treatments
- Assist physicians or other providers with clinical procedures and participates in patient teaching/education
- LPN License
- 1 years of experience
- Private Practice / Group Practice Experience
- BLS/CPR Certification
