WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in New York, NY!
Job Function:
- Provide individuals, families, and groups with the psychosocial support needed to cope with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses.
- Conducting psychosocial assessments to identify mental or emotional distress
- Counseling those in crisis or experiencing distress
- Connecting patients and their families with necessary resources
- Advising on patient discharging & referrals for further treatment if applicable
Job Requirements:

LMSW - NYS Required

3 years of paid exp as an LMSW required, and at least 1 year in a medical setting

Care Coordination/Discharge Planning required
