We are currently seeking a Water Resources Intern to join our team in our Blacksburg, VA office. The Water Resources Intern will participate in environmental natural resources and engineering activities including wetland delineations; soil/groundwater sampling; well installation and monitoring; data compilation and analysis; preparation of permits and environmental reports; stormwater management site selection and design; and erosion and sediment control implementation.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Biology, Environmental or other relevant degree
- Effective oral/written communication skills at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and manage time accordingly.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
- Willingness to take on new challenges and learn more about the field while working on these challenges.
