Description
Our Supply Chain team plays an integral role in our end to end operations, ensuring that product is received from our global factories and delivered to our customers on time. Our Supply Chain team needs a strong, team-oriented Supply Chain Manager with excellent communication and planning skills.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Forecast customer demands based on historic patterns and interactions with sales team, customer leaders, and other key stake holders
- Plan purchases based on forecast demand
- Create Purchase Orders and track the PO throughout its entire life cycle.
- Coordinate inventory replenishment to support customer needs
- Track and maintain proper levels of stocked inventory
- Proactively report product and material availability issues
- Monitor and drive resolution of MRP errors
- Analyze excess and obsolete inventory and develop plans to eliminate
- Maintain planning parameters in the ERP system
- Ensure all materials are received in a timely manner and follow up on all POs to ensure scheduled delivery dates are met
- · Facilitate daily/weekly/monthly meetings as needed (with both internal and external customers)
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop action plans to resolve issues and prevent a reoccurrence
- Keep key stake holders informed of any potential problems with suppliers which may impact company performance.
- Maintain accurate records in the ERP system and other company systems
- Communicate all changes in material price or lead times to the effected teams and update reports and ERP systems to reflect the changes
- Assess risks and gaps within the schedule and communicate them appropriately
- Coordinates customer special request for production or delivery needs
- Coordinates with the customer and cross functional teams to fulfill special production requests and delivery needs
- Effectively utilize problem solving skills to recognize problems and provide solutions
Requirements
Role Requirements:
- 5 years of experience working with an ERP system in a manufacturing environment required
- Excellent analytical and communication skills

- Experience with multiple ERP systems is a plus
- Previous experience with planning/scheduling in a manufacturing environment is required
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel to maintain databases and create reports and charts.
- Highly organized, focused on detail and showing high level of accuracy
- Experience managing international vendors required
Reporting Relationships: This position will report to the Supply Chain Director.
