Lead Maintenance Supervisor | Multi-Family

The successful candidate for this position will possess the skills and aptitude for the following tasks:

1. Develop a complete understanding of company policies and the Employee Handbook

2. Electrical- perform routine electrical repairs such as wiring, fuses, fixtures, and sockets, and repair/install/service HVAC systems

3. Plumbing- perform routine plumbing repairs such as: replace/repair/service water heaters, clear drain lines, replace broken pipes-worn out washers- gaskets and or faucets- and floats

4. Carpentry- perform routine carpentry repairs such as kitchen cabinets, window screens/glass, door locks, and plaster/drywall

5. Mechanical- perform routine mechanical repairs such as repair/diagnose all significant appliances, operating mower, snow blower, drill, and other needed power tools

6. Other unskilled tasks such as interior and exterior painting, floor tile installation and repair, interior cleaning, lawn mowing, leaf raking, tree/shrub trimming, debris removal, snow removal, and other landscaping duties

7. Inventory- identifying, cataloging, and procuring necessary materials used in maintenance operations

8. Basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance

9. Vendor Management and scheduling

10. Respond to all on-call emergencies. Contact resident within 15 min of receiving a call and provide ETA not to exceed 1 hour

11. Respond to all maintenance requests within 24 hours

12. Work order management and quality control/ have experience with mobile facilities plus

13. Maintain make-ready board both onsite as well as within RealPage

Position Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Ability to move/lift to 75 pounds as needed

3. Speak, read, and write Basic English

4. May be required to meet specific certifications in the field

5. Minimum three years experience in the field or related area

6. Should have direct knowledge of HVAC, boilers, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting/sheetrock, floor covering/tile, pool cleaning, and repairs. (HVAC certification is required as it applies to any HVAC responsibilities)

7. Required to be on call as necessary

8. Availability to work evenings and weekends according to the business needs of the company

9. Knowledge of a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures

10. Requires a certain degree of creativity and latitude

11. Employee must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

12. Have a valid driver's license as well as reliable transportation to report to and from work

13. Successfully pass both a criminal and drug screen testing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Maintenance: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
  • EPA Certification (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Saint Louis, MO 63122: Relocate before starting work (Required)
