As the Deputy Chief of Staff, you will work within the fast-paced Office of the CEO and oversee multiple cross-functional projects while supporting day-to-day operations for our Chief Executive Officer, Will Ahmed. You will get to serve as a true generalist - working with executives and colleagues from all parts of the company to ensure that our team remains aligned and ready to execute on our ambitious projects. You will be responsible for preparing our CEO for all meetings and will support follow-up items outside of the meetings. You will play a key role in the day-to-day tracking of our company and departmental OKRs. Diligence, discretion, and the highest level of work ethic will be key to success. This role reports to the Chief of Staff to the CEO.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create briefing materials, in collaboration with business stakeholders, to ensure the CEO is prepped for meetings and ensure timely follow-up on meeting actions
- Oversee all material flow to CEO including daily briefing book
- Lead strategic projects related to cross-functional projects on behalf of the Office of the CEO, acting as an internal liaison cross functionally
- Serve as a Program Manager on projects of particular importance to the CEO
- Track company-wide OKRs and serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day OKR management
- Support creative projects involving design
- Assist with external communication, internal communication, and social media for the CEO
- Support the planning and execution of high-level events
- Support Chief of Staff and Executive Assistants with administrative tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Willingness to hustle and embrace intensity - this is not a standard 9-5 role and the successful candidate will be expected to be available outside of normal working hours
- Ability to uphold the highest standard of discretion - the Office of the CEO handles sensitive and confidential matters, and we take protecting this information very seriously
- Detail-oriented and organized - helping run a company takes relentless discipline and understanding the ins-and-outs of issues and matters, so the successful candidate must be extraordinarily organized
- Creative mindset, especially to navigate ambiguity and find solutions to problems
- Outstanding writing and analytical skills, in order to quickly digest and prepare summary briefings for our CEO
- Passion for fitness, health, and technology
- Bachelor's degree
- Willingness to travel (up to 15%)
- Interest in working in-person - this is not a hybrid role, and the successful candidate must be willing to work out of Boston HQ five days per week
This role is unique, and we’re open to considering candidates from a range of backgrounds. In general, we expect the successful candidate will have 2-5 years of professional experience. This experience might take the following forms:
Spent time as an associate or analyst at a top-tier consulting firm or investment bank
Worked in business development or business operations at a major tech company
Served as an officer in the U.S. military with demonstrated ability leading teams and supporting more senior officers
Hustled as an assistant or advisor to a senior sports agent or Hollywood executive
Served as a legislative assistant or press secretary to a U.S. Senator or Congressman
