Duties:
Performs daily and weekly inspections of leachate control & monitoring system
Maintains all leachate & methane gas systems;
Maintains bailers, conveyors ,& equipment on all recycling equipment;
Assists with all electrical wiring, installation, & repairs;
Assists with carpentry needs to buildings & transfer stations;
Operates all assigned solid waste equipment as needed;
Operates roll-off trucks & tractors as needed;
Supervises Solid Waste crews as needed;
Performs weekly inspections;
Completes work orders, orders parts, & makes repairs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 to 4 years prior experience in maintenance operations with heavy equipment for construction/landfill operations;
Possession of a valid CDL Class B commercial driver’s license with bus, hazardous materials, & tanker endorsement;
Hazardous condition identification training;
OSHA and MOSHA knowledge;
Confined Space, CPR, & First Aid training;
Clean driving record;
Homeland Security and Fire Extinguisher Certifications;
Ability to pass background check, DOT physical and drug testing
Willing to be on-call 24/7 for emergencies.

Pay: $35,298.00 - $42,294.00 per year
