Widmer Interiors is a certified Herman Miller dealership providing furniture design & solutions to commercial, education and healthcare facilities throughout Central and Northwest Illinois. We currently have an opening for an Interior Designer for our Bloomington, Illinois office.
Performance Expectations –
Attend programming meetings with our Sales Team
Develop creative solutions for our clients
Space planning utilizing Widmer’s design software
Selection of product fabrics and finishes
Client presentations
Create bill of materials and installation plans
Construction site visits
Develop working relationships with vendors
Maintain knowledge of the industry, products, and methods
Performs other duties as required
Position Requirements –
Bachelor’s Degree in interior design
Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficient in AutoCAD
Ability and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits
Work well with others on team projects
Intense attention to detail
Presentation skills in front of clients
CET Designer experience a plus but not required
Experience in commercial systems furniture a plus
