Widmer Interiors, a leading MillerKnoll office furniture dealership, serving business, healthcare, education, and government clients throughout Central and Northern Illinois. With three locations in Peoria, Rockford, and Bloomington, we have a dedicated team of over 35 employees who specialize in creating innovative and functional interior spaces.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Interior Designer at our Bloomington, IL location. The Interior Designer will collaborate in a team environment to create exceptional interior furniture spaces that meet the needs and vision of our clients. This is a terrific position for technical designers who enjoy space planning, are proud of their attention to detail and like to work as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines
  • Space planning using CET (3D design software)
  • Drafting of building shells in AutoCAD
  • Creating product specifications/proposals

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design. Prior experience with office furniture space planning & specification is a plus.
