Wieland is hiring a Scheduler. The scheduler will be responsible for scheduling orders for customers in a timely manner. Additional tasks include data entry, and working closely with other departments, such as Production and Sales, to ensure customer orders will be delivered on time and with the utmost professionalism. This role is located in Texas City, TX and will be fully on-site.
Scheduler Responsibilities:
- Track and maintain Daily Status Reports, note any discrepancies.
- Track and provide updated shipping status for sales team as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by staying on top of pending orders and customer requests
- Coordinate with the Sales and Production Teams to provide shipping information
- Operate as part of a team and support various scheduling and shipping functions
- Utilize software to complete order entry, shipping, etc.
- Complete tasks with a high level of integrity and confidentiality
- Manage documentation and maintain updated filing system
- Review records for accuracy and report any discrepancies
- Promptly respond to calls, emails, and correspondence
- Coordinate with interconnected departments
- Help ensure the workplace is free from harassment and discrimination.

- Other shipping/scheduling duties as assigned
Scheduler Qualifications:
- High School equivalency.
- 4 years' experience in administration, data entry or a related field.
- Understanding of quality, production, metal manufacturing, or a related field preferred
- Proficiency with computers and data entry
- Ability to perform conversions and calculations
- Fluent English language skills, both speaking and writing
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong analytical focus and attention to detail (critical skill)
- Ability to work flexible and/or overtime hours as required by the position
- Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers, and management.
- Ability to work as part of a team and offer assistance to teammates when necessary.
