Wieland is hiring a Claims Administrator. The claims administrator is accountable for administering all supplier related claims through disposition and closure, including negotiations, providing data and evidence. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal teams. This role will be the liaison between our external processors, mill sources and internal customers.
This role is located in Parsippany, NJ and will be fully on-site.
Responsibilities
Claims Administrator Responsibilities:
- Manage all supplier related claims to resolution.
- Coordinating the initiation, data collection, processing, and closure of claims from all sources:
- Internal customers (intercompany)
- Outside processor rejections
- Mill sources
- Requesting root cause and corrective actions as required.
- Ensure proper financial/inventory transactions occurs.
- Working with purchasing when replacement material is needed.
- Maintain and manage tracking of all defective materials to target levels.
- Lead periodic Material Review Board (MRB) meetings to ensure timely claim progression.
- Periodic review alongside purchasing team with external suppliers on quality trends to establish a solid partnership and best practices.
Claims Administrator Qualifications:
- Technical (or quality control) background.
- Ability to administer and lead several complex claims simultaneously.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, Oracle/ERP applications.
- Self- motivated, high energy and data driven.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills and organization skills.
- Decision Making – ability to bring the appropriate people and information together to make timely decisions.
- Analytical – ability to employ a systematic approach to problem solving.
This position is one where the incumbent is required to both sit and stand for extended periods of time on a regular basis and perform a variety of repetitive tasks. Incumbent is also required to use a keyboard for extended periods of time.
