Bulk Goods Picking Associate

Job Description

The Bulk Goods Picking Associate is responsible to pick assembly work orders.

General Responsibilities

• Pull product from inventory according to work order documents.
• Properly pick, QC, document, and compile bulk goods items.
• Stock inventory
• Conduct inventory counts.
• Clean and maintain minor equipment such as tape machines.
• Sweep floors, ensure all aisles are free of debris, and empty trash cans.

• Concise and professional communication when dealing with colleagues and all business partners.
• Able to solve problems and apply new ideas.
• Able to work and prioritize tasks to ensure all deadlines are met.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, actively listens to colleagues, and works collaboratively in a team environment to achieve organizational goals.
• Able to operate pallet trucks and order picker equipment.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 40 pounds.
• Stand and walk for long periods at a time. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel or crouch.
• Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
• Ability to train to use motorized equipment for picking work orders and storage of products.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous distribution center or warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
