Performs calibration and adjustments on temperature gauges and measuring devices Installs, repairs, maintains and adjusts process instruments used to control and measure variables, such as pressure Makes adjustments as necessary to produce product within specified accuracy Performs changeovers and assists in troubleshooting calibration equipment, rejects non calibratable product Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and special instructions (SIs) Completes daily production logs Performs preventive maintenance on calibration equipment Communicates with operators from other shifts Cleans and maintains work area. (5S) Assists mechanics and machinists in repair work Performs ancillary duties as needed
Previous experience working in manufacturing environment, is preferred Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required The ability to stand for long periods up to eight or more hours at a time Able to work in noisy environment Good eyesight (eyesight correction acceptable) Be able to work overtime if required. (including weekends) Reach 80% of potential output with 100% quality for the product family of the home cell
