What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Sales Assistant position at WIKA Instrument LP?
BASIC PURPOSE:
Support Sales by executing administrative tasks including recurring activities and one-off projects.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB:
- Supports Sales activities and personnel through timely and accurate completion of all assignments and projects.
- Generates standard monthly reports via CRM, AX, Halo and the Data Warehouse.
- Coordinates and manages periodic customer visits, Sales meetings, etc.
- Manages the Sales SharePoint and Channel Partner Locator database.
- Processes product literature/software requests.
- Coordinates Distributor e-Commerce platforms, Warehouse2 and other electronic portals that require periodic data maintenance.
- Coordinates Interlynx lead-gen with our Channel Partners.
- Supports Sales Leadership in the planning and preparation of regular Management meetings, e.g. SML, SL, Monthly Business Reviews, etc.
- Completes complex administrative tasks.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates Degree in Business Administration or similar field preferred.
- 3-5 Years of experience in related administrative role preferred.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint. Knowledge of Access, Power BI or relational databases in general is a plus.
- Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in new software programs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be proactive, detail oriented, self-motivated and well organized, while maintaining flexibility.
- Possess the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, Sales environment.
- Works well as a team member or independently.
