What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Sales Assistant position at WIKA Instrument LP?

BASIC PURPOSE:

Support Sales by executing administrative tasks including recurring activities and one-off projects.


MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB:

  • Supports Sales activities and personnel through timely and accurate completion of all assignments and projects.
  • Generates standard monthly reports via CRM, AX, Halo and the Data Warehouse.
  • Coordinates and manages periodic customer visits, Sales meetings, etc.
  • Manages the Sales SharePoint and Channel Partner Locator database.
  • Processes product literature/software requests.
  • Coordinates Distributor e-Commerce platforms, Warehouse2 and other electronic portals that require periodic data maintenance.
  • Coordinates Interlynx lead-gen with our Channel Partners.
  • Supports Sales Leadership in the planning and preparation of regular Management meetings, e.g. SML, SL, Monthly Business Reviews, etc.
  • Completes complex administrative tasks.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates Degree in Business Administration or similar field preferred.
  • 3-5 Years of experience in related administrative role preferred.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint. Knowledge of Access, Power BI or relational databases in general is a plus.
  • Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in new software programs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be proactive, detail oriented, self-motivated and well organized, while maintaining flexibility.
  • Possess the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, Sales environment.
  • Works well as a team member or independently.
