Description: . Uses a variety of equipment to move product in a safe and efficient manner.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Operates machinery to move vehicles throughout facility in a safe manner without damaging equipment, inventory or company property.*
Performs required inspections and basic maintenance of front-end loader to ensure safe operating conditions.*
Ensures vehicles are spaced far enough apart on all sides so that any door can be opened without touching the other vehicles and you can walk comfortably in front or back of any vehicles while in the inventory and dismantling areas.*
Moves vehiclesfrom dismantling area to the designated storage area.*
Reports any damage that may occur during transit to the operations manager so that inventory may be corrected.*
May be required to operate certain types of forklifts or heavy machinery with appropriate license.
Follows all safety policies and procedures.*

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. For insurance purposes you must be 21 years of age or older.

Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver’s license. Forklift certification. Training and certification available.

Must be a certified loader operator with completion of training consisting of both classroom-type and practical instruction in proper operation of loader, per OSHA requirement 29 CFR 1910.178. (Training Provided)*

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. For heavier merchandise lifting devices and/or assistance is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places and vibration. This is a smoke free environment for safety reasons.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
