ESL Teacher Teaching Responsibilities Teach 3-4 sections of ESL: One section of Middle School Literature, one section Upper School Superior LanguageContribute to department meetings and school aligned initiativesProvide daily/weekly assignments and associated feedback and grading on schools Canvas Learning Management SystemAdapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning needs of English language learners in Upper School and Middle SchoolPrepare lessons, units and projects to complete learning objectives within CanvasEstablish and communicate clear objectives for lessons, units and projectsWork with students 1-on-1 when they need extra help or guidanceAfternoon/Athletic ResponsibilitiesAll full-time faculty are asked to contribute to two seasons of coaching.Residential ResponsibilitiesIf living on campus, faculty are asked to provide one night a week & one weekend a month of dorm supervision.If living off campus, faculty are asked to provide four weekends a year of activity duty/supervision.All interested parties are asked to mail a resume and cover letter to Dean of Faculty Wally Swanson at wswanson@wma.us.
