Essential Functions Statement(s)

  •  Perform preparatory work, including ensuring all required materials and equipment are available.
  •  Perform various pre-painting activities, including laying drop cloths, protecting non-painted surfaces and equipment, mixing and matching paint, power washing, scraping, burning, and sanding surfaces.
  •  Perform minor repair work, such as puttying wood, plastering holes, and finishing surfaces.
  •  Apply paint to a variety of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, buildings, furniture, and equipment.
  •  Perform proper cleanup and storage at the end of each day and/or task.
  •  Be knowledgeable and utilize the appropriate paint type (enamel, oil, water-based, etc) for each job.
  •  Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
  •  Represent the company to guests and other team members in a positive & friendly manner.
  •  Maintain a groomed look and good personal hygiene, including wearing a clean WA uniform.
  • Satisfy Wild Adventure's standards for performance and conduct. For example, report to work regularly and on time.
  •  “Create Memories Worth Repeating” for our Guests by exceeding expectations
  • Perform other duties as needed

Education/Experience: Experience in both commercial and residential painting working with a variety of sprayers and application equipment required.  Must possess a proficient knowledge of various types of paints and their applications. 

Other Requirements: Position requires ability to read, write, and speak English.  Must have ability to operate and use equipment such as Genie lifts, scissors lifts, etc.  Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as air compressor, skill saw, electric drill, impact wrench, etc.  Ability to work at heights up to 150 feet.
