We're seeking a highly-skilled, experienced, and motivated Phlebotomy Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team in Providence. Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Performing venipunctures, skin punctures, and other specimen collections as needed.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the collection areas.
  • Ensuring proper patient identification and specimen labeling.
  • Calming and comforting patients who may be anxious or nervous.
  • Assisting in the processing of lab testing requisitions and samples.
  • Ensuring the integrity of specimens during the collection process.

Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • 18 years old or above
  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more
  • Clean criminal history record required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment and maintain professional demeanor.
  • Understanding of medical terminology is preferred but not required.
