What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser position at Wild Thyme Cafe at Trees Ranch?
Restaurant Due to open Mid March
Responsibilities:
- Clearing and resetting tables in a timely manner
- Assisting servers with delivering food and beverages to tables
- Refilling water glasses and providing additional condiments as needed
- Removing dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware from tables
- Cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs, and dining areas
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks in the kitchen
- Providing excellent customer service by promptly responding to guest requests and inquiries
- Communicating effectively with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Busser or in the restaurant/food industry is preferred
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper sanitation procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy trays or bus tubs
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
