POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to maintain the company’s computers (i.e. computer systems, hardware, software, networks) and POS computers (i.e. computer system, hardware) as well as server maintenance, printers, automated guest locker system and telecommunication system.
The position responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, determines problems, and implements solutions under the direction of the Director of Finance or Manager of Finance as well with the support from the corporate IT team and third-party contractors.
This may include installing hardware or software and other related equipment. This position will also work with third-party vendors to help maintain and operate the park sound system and security camera network.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performing System and Network Engineering Support for all park specific servers, corporate based servers and infrastructure equipment.
Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received via email, phone and/or in-person. Documenting all end user help desk calls and resolutions in park’s help desk system.
Providing First Level End User support for all in park and back-office users with software, hardware and network access.
Coordinating and escalating support issues as needed to the appropriate corporate and/or third-party support teams.
Primary liaison with corporate IT and third-party system contractors
Performing system backups based on corporate defined policies and maintaining tape backup inventories.
Complete IT Onboarding for new employees; ensuring each workstation is set-up and correct network access is given.
Supervising and training a summer-season IT team member.
Maintaining Site Inventory documentation while following change management policies and procedures.
Performing periodical audits on all in-park systems to maintain adherence to security policies and procedures.
Hardware installation and maintenance on computers, printers, POS systems, telephone systems and servers.
Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma/GED. Associates degree or coursework preferred.
At least 18 years of Age.
1-3 years of experience providing technical help desk support. Experience in POS systems preferred.
Fluency in Office 365.
Basic understanding of POS hardware including scanner/scales, receipt printers and EFT hardware
Basic knowledge of electronic payment devices
Basic understanding of networking, SQL databases or equivalent experience
AV knowledge a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must be able to work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends.
General math skills including, but not limited to basic algebra, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and the ability to read measurements.
