With its granite, boulder-lined ponds and streams, bent grass fairways, and more than 6,000 trees throughout the 18 hole championship course and 9 hole executive track, it’s truly a resort-style golfing experience. Wilderness Ridge also offers a casual restaurant featuring steaks and seafood, as well as private banquet spaces for events of any occasion and size.
A Day in the Life
The Banquet Bartender is responsible for providing excellent service and ensuring guest satisfaction for a variety of events including weddings, corporate events, member events and golf outings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare for opening according to Company procedures including inspection for adequate supplies, procuring additional supplies as necessary, and preparing garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
- Greet guests as they enter the bar area.
- Mix, prepare and serve drinks according to approved recipes.
- Report complaints to a manager as soon as they occur.
- Maintain and clean bar equipment.
- Clean and lock-up according to Company procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school required.
- 1 year bartending experience preferred.
- Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
- Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
Experience
Preferred- 1 year bartending experience preferred.
Education
Required- High School or better
