With its granite, boulder-lined ponds and streams, bent grass fairways, and more than 6,000 trees throughout the 18 hole championship course and 9 hole executive track, it’s truly a resort-style golfing experience. Wilderness Ridge also offers a casual restaurant featuring steaks and seafood, as well as private banquet spaces for events of any occasion and size.
A Day in the Life
The Seasonal Golf Course Groundskeeper participates in all activities related to the care and maintenance of the golf course, grounds, and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in regular course and grounds maintenance to keep the golf course in proper playing condition according to Company standards.
- Participate in the care of turf, plants, shrubs, and trees on the golf course and grounds.
- Enforce all appropriate quality and cleanliness standards including, but not limited to, employee hygiene and uniforms, equipment repair areas, equipment storage areas, chemical and fertilizer storage areas, receiving areas, washing areas, lunchroom areas, restrooms, etc.
- Operate and maintain equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Golf course, landscape, and commercial mowing experience is preferred.
- Candidates must work well in a team environment, have an eye for detail, and display a positive attitude.
- Candidates must be accustomed to working outdoors in all kinds of weather.
