Role
The Career Services Manager is responsible for supporting all learners within the Academy who are from the mthree Aspire 1000 and The Software Guild Programmes. The core focus of the role is to ensure that their experience, transitioning from Academy into a new career in technology, is a positive one. Additionally, the Career Services Manager, as part of the wider Emerging Talent Operations team will, where necessary, support students in Academy training on Alumni and Reskill training.
Responsibilities
- Supporting learners from both the TSG and the Aspire cohorts, to find their first role in technology.
- Carrying out Interview training techniques; including teaching interviewing skills, interview preparation planning and carrying out mock interviews.
- Reviewing CV’s and Linked in profiles for branding and quality assurance.
- Liaising with the students and Talent teams to ensure that each person has a mthree profile template created.
- Coordinating interviews and carrying out interview preparation training, including ensuring travel logistics are organized.
- Working 1-on-1 with students that requires further support and development, based on interview feedback.
- Assist in developing an Individual Learner Summary for each student which is presented to them when they leave Academy or join a new employer.
- Work on a matrix with the Client Services, Business Development and Talent teams to drive a continued focus on students on the bench and are still looking for their first employment.
- Bench reporting and management.
- Providing accurate and timely data into the CRM and LMS platforms.
- Provide support to students in Academy training on Alumni and Reskill training.
- Attending and coordinating mthree and TSG presence at Career Fairs to help increase the employer network partnerships.
- Coordinate Alumni speaking panels twice a year. Liaising with alumni, arranging speakers, setting up the event, and facilitate on the day.
- Support the work with local government agencies, tech clubs, and conferences to increase our brand awareness.
- Project Manage Post Engagement activities with OM, Talent and Sales teams for bench candidates.
