About the Role:
The Partnership Manager will manage the day to day relationship between Wiley Education Services (WES) and a portfolio of partner institutions. With support from a Senior Partnership Director, you will help advance university partnerships and boost the partner’s strategic goals. You will work closely with functional teams to improve operational support build your skills as a client management professional. You will receive mentorship and guidance to increase your client management knowledge and breadth of experience.
In this role, you will support the overall strategy and use best practices and knowledge of the business to improve partner operations.
How you will make an impact:

Support the smooth day to day operation of university clients.

Assist in resolving high-risk escalations.

Find gaps in level of service and offer feedback to functional area leader.

Must be able to build strong and effective relationships with functional leaders to influence decisions.

Collaborate with functional leaders to ensure alignment of the overall vision and ensure exceptional and consistent service to our partners.

Support data insights by providing reporting to their team.

Stays informed on the latest higher education trends, needs, and best practices to inform partnership credibility and development.

Coordinate or take part in partner meetings and communicate updates internally (or should this mainly be functional leader) and externally.

Manage contracts to ensure compliance internally and externally.

Assist in negotiation of renewals and adjustments to contracts, including advocating for new partner spend and identifying products to add to the account.

With assistance from their manager or other Senior Partnership Director’s, learn about how to implement new business development opportunities.
What we look for:

Bachelor’s degree required.

1-3 years experience in (Business to Business) B2B account management, inside sales, or general manager experience required.

Ability to travel 2-3 times per year to meet with university partners face to face.

Experience with Office 365 and CRM software (Salesforce preferred).

Comfortable speaking and presenting to clients on a daily basis.

Ability to gain the confidence and trust of others quickly.

Ability to hold yourself and other functional leaders accountable to meet commitments.

Able to build strong relationships to deliver solutions according to expectations; Anticipating customer needs and providing solutions.

Display a deep understanding of how our business and service areas run to spot trends; Use business insights to prioritize decisions to set up partnership for success.
