Energy Efficiency Auditor
Willdan (WLDN - NASDAQ) is one of the nation's preeminent providers of energy management services to utilities, local governments, and private enterprises. We are seeking an Energy Efficiency Auditor to work on the FirstEnergy Pennsylvania Building Tune Up program. This role will mostly focus on the West Penn and Penn Power service territories. Training related to program operations will be provided.
Candidates will ideally be located in areas north or south of Pittsburgh such as Washington or Cranberry, PA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct outreach and education to targeted customers and schedule energy efficiency audits
- Assist management staff to quantify energy savings, financial savings and other customer benefits
- Effectively sell projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors and subcontractors
- Work in cross functional teams including field operations and program support
- Engagement in any and all areas critical to program success
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of sales experience and/or relevant energy efficiency experience
- Good communication skills, including the ability to present energy saving opportunities effectively
- Work independently to target customers and schedule multiple site visits per day
- Determine qualifying technology/equipment including lighting and other measures.
- Hold a valid driver's license and maintain a vehicle in good working condition
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is a plus
