This role will involve the creation of new products, improving existing formulations, and ensuring product stability and efficacy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize formulations for household cleaning products, including cast, gel, powder, and extrusion-based products
- Conduct research and development to innovate new product concepts and improve existing product lines
- Perform laboratory experiments, stability testing, and scale-up trials to ensure product performance and safety
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and quality assurance, to bring new products to market
- Maintain accurate records of formulations, experimental procedures, and results
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements
- Troubleshoot formulation issues and provide technical support to manufacturing teams
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in formulation chemistry within the household cleaning products industry
- Proven experience in developing cast, gel, powder, and extrusion-based products
- Strong understanding of surfactants, emulsifiers, gelling agents, and other key ingredients used in household cleaning products
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment used in formulation development
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
