The Corporate Access Associate, based in Chicago, will support the head of corporate access in overseeing broker led corporate access engagement and executing William Blair hosted corporate access events globally. This will include on and off-site meetings, site visits, conference calls, roadshows, and bespoke field trips. This is a hands-on role which requires ownership of day-to-day coordination between our investment professionals and the corporates and broker partners. The Corporate Access Associate will engage with investors, proactively suggest agendas, itineraries and respond to company queries and questions as necessary.

Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

Engage with all investment professionals globally to gain understanding of their requirements
Develop internal relationships with investors to understand their investment philosophy and process in order to originate events
Handle daily corporate access efforts for William Blair Investment Management, including planning, preparing, executing and reporting on meetings with company management teams. To include management of logistics associated with corporate access interactions
Work closely with sell-side counterparts, brokers and third-party vendors to manage corporate access activity
Support all communications between the Corporate Access team and the Investment Administration team on all events
Update and analyze current processes and procedures and actively suggest improvements and assist with training
Assist in centralizing and coordinating all corporate access activity globally
Help develop and utilize technology to enhance management of the corporate access process
Produce and distribute periodic and ad hoc reports to summarize company meeting activities to Investment Management
Maintain and update Corporate Access CRM database as needed
Serve as quality control check as it relates to all meeting logistics and deliverables
Additional responsibilities as requested

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree required
3 - 5 years of relevant experience in financial services preferred, in particular corporate access, investor relations or equities
Corporate access, Investor Relations or related financial services experience preferred, Strong Excel and database skills
Data analysis and transformation experience in Tableau, Power BI or a similar tool
Highly motivated and proactive
Ability to develop relationships with investment professionals, gaining an understanding and empathy with their needs as an investor
A strong team player with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
