We would prefer someone with at least a year of experience completing preventative maintenance on semi-trucks and tractor-trailers. BUT if you have more – don’t be afraid, we pay for experience!

Shift:
- 2nd Shift 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Monday – Friday ($2.00/hour shift differential)
Job Duties of a Diesel Technician:
- Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules, and installing component and part upgrades.
- Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts.
- Correct vehicle problems by removing, repairing, adjusting, assembling, disassembling, and replacing assemblies such as: power and drive trains, air brake components, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emissions, steering, hydraulics, oil systems, clutches, and traction units.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting diesel engine system with ECM diagnostic programs and other troubleshooting techniques preferred (i.e. Cummins Insite, Davie 4, and Tech Tool)
- Knowledge of DPF System
- Welding (experience not required)
Qualifications (Lame, but we have to have SOME):
- A Valid Driver's License in good standing is REQUIRED!
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of diesel maintenance
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
