Position: Payroll/Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Williamsport, MD
Position Summary:
The Payroll/Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for all functions related to processing payroll and accounts payable for the organization.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years payroll/accounting experience, ADP payroll experience preferred.
· Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
· Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
· Demonstrated expertise in computer skills, including knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
· Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with attention to details, accuracy, and deadlines.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Payroll
- Prepare bi-weekly payroll.
- Assist in setting up payroll information for new hires.
- Maintain the ADP employee database, address changes, and all other payroll changes.
- Assist employees with payroll questions.
- Process quarterly and annual tax filings.
Accounts Payable
- Responsible for reviewing, coding, and routing vendor invoices for required approvals.
- Set up invoices and manual check requests for payment.
- Ensure invoices are processed in a timely basis and that all documentation is verified.
- Reconcile vendor accounts.
- Review and process employee expense reports.
- Process annual 1099 forms.
