We have an exciting opening on our clinical team. We are seeking a full time Addictions Counselor with a passion for helping clients reach and maintain recovery. The counselor will provide intensive, professional counseling services to individuals diagnosed with substance use disorders.

Responsibilities Include:

· Facilitates group, individual and family therapy sessions.

· Develop and oversee implementation of treatment plans and reviews.

· Regular communication with referral sources and family members.

· Completes assessments.

· Participates in inter-disciplinary treatment team meetings.

· Relapse prevention planning

· Discharge planning and coordination

Skills / Qualifications:

· Must have a current/active CADC, GACA certification; and/or or Master’s Degree in Counseling or a related field. LPC or LMSW preferred. (please do not apply if at least one of these requirements is not met)

· Previous experience in Addictions or Mental Health Treatment preferred

· Excellent oral and written skills

· Must be good at time management and have ability to complete required documentation within expected timeframes.

· Ability to collaborate with other departments and function as part of a team.

Salary commensurate to experience.
