Primary Function:
Under the direction and supervision of the Service Manager, this position is responsible for managing the entire claims process for factory and distributor warranties. Performs all duties within the objectives, standards, and policies of Willis Automotive.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processes warranty claims timely and accurately.
- Verifies criteria required by factory or distributor.
- Provides documentation on parts to be scrapped.
- Performs follow-up with the factory and distributors regarding unpaid claims.
- Reconciles service contracts and warranty schedule.
- Maintains warranty claims in current status, excluding those in review by manufacturers.
- Posts credits and debits.
- Records real time and flag time for technicians.
- Coordinates weekly payroll for technicians.
- Communicates work accomplishments and activities to supervisor on a regular basis.
- Performs any other related duties as assigned.

- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Previous warranty claims experience
- Knowledge of automotive parts and industry helpful
- Good PC computer skills
- Strong attention to details and follow through on projects
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Must have ability to work well in a team-based environment
