Live Oak Retirement Community is seeking a Registered Nurse/Wound Care to work full-time, including every other weekend shift. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: provides supervision, guidance, and support to the nursing staff; assesses, implements, and treats resident wounds according to facility's policies and procedures; observes, evaluates, and reports resident care activities; monitors and adjusts staffing needs in accordance with resident's needs; performs and teaches technical skills when appropriate; ability to plan and provide nursing care for resident's problems; coordinates and provides monthly staff education; and participates in Quality Improvement activities that are multidisciplinary and/or unit specific. The individual selected for this position must have a current LA License and will need to have previous RN experience, nursing home/LTC experience is a plus.
