JOB DESCRIPTION OF PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT/PEDIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER
Willows Pediatric Group is a busy, fast paced pediatric office that takes pride in providing the best patient care to our pediatric population. We are looking for a friendly and energetic Physician Assistant (PA) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) for our Pediatric Office.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality patient care to our patient population.
- Perform well exams for all age groups from newborn through 26 years of age.
- Diagnose and treat sick patients of all age groups from newborn through 26 years of age.
- Order and review labs including COVID 19 tests.
- Prescribe and administer appropriate medications including controlled substances for appropriate age groups.
- Perform regular med checks and build a patient base for routine care.
- Able to perform procedures such as suturing lacerations, foreign body removal, wart removal etc.
- Must be able to communicate well with patients, parents and staff.
- Weekend and Evening coverage needed around a flexible schedule.
Requirements:
- Active and current Connecticut medical license required.
- Active and current DEA number.
- Experience with EMR systems.
Job Types:
Part-time APRN and PA's supported by highly experienced and qualified pediatricians.
