The Fuels Staff Accountant will provide integral support to the Accounting Department as a key member of the Fuels Accounting Team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality and timeliness of data that supports Financial Statement preparation and Balance Sheet integrity.

How You’ll Make an Impact

- Assist the Fuels Marketing Accounting Manager in the verification of accuracy in monthly operation statement preparation for SMO .
- Reconcile, review, and verify accuracy of monthly balance sheet accounts relating to wholesale accounts as defined by the Fuels Marketing Accounting Manager .
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fuel inventories, and others as needed .
- Reconcile fuel bills of lading with supplier, terminal, and product information .
- Produce dealer customer invoices that reconcile to fuel manifests and verify charges are appropriately captured and classified .
- Collaborate with Fuels Marketing Accounting Manager on Fuels Accounting process improvements .

- . Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, a minimum of 3 years of general ledger and additional accounting experience will be considered in the absence of an undergraduate degree. .

- Minimum of 3 years of progressive broad-based accounting experience in a private, corporate environment .
- Experience with large scale ERP System(s) .
- Experience with Account Reconciliation work .
