What You Will Do:

The Technical Legal Services Coordinator is responsible for identifying and implementing Knowledge Management related technology-focused solutions to improve efficiency at the firm. This includes working with the legal practices and administrative departments to support and improve their delivery of services by conceptualizing, developing, and delivering innovative solutions with a focus on employing low code/no-code, AI and other related technologies. The Technical Legal Services Coordinator is responsible for successfully managing the execution of process improvement projects, including project definition, requirements gathering, task planning and stakeholder management.

About This Role:

  • Works with the KM Manager and Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) to proactively identify and develop process improvement opportunities aimed at enabling the business to achieve their objectives through the effective use of
  • Develops a deep knowledge of the firm’s business processes and existing technology solutions.
  • Defines functional use cases and documents functional and technical requirements for process improvement projects.
  • Models processes and develops workflow diagrams.
  • Implements workflow and process improvement using MS PowerAutomate and other automation tools.
  • With limited guidance, develops a sound implementation plan to execute process improvement projects in accordance with requirements.
  • Proactively manages project delivery and approvals with little supervision, resolving action items, issues, and risks.
  • Identifies methods for using the firm’s Microsoft 365 environment and other technology tools to promote new opportunities for knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Displays professionalism, quality service and a positive "can do" attitude to internal members/departments of the Firm.
  • Initiates building and maintaining strong relationships with team members across functions and more senior client stakeholders. Uses conflict-resolution skills to facilitate strong team dynamics.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.


Required Skills


What You Will Bring:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications.
  • Strong technical background with a focus on workflow automation and process improvement.
  • Familiarity with process and workflow automation tools (Power Automate, Visio, SharePoint, PowerBI) preferred
  • Desire to learn new techniques and skills.
  • Strong analysis, planning and organizing skills.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
  • Interest in and ability to acquire new skills and tackle challenging projects.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively with both users and technical staff in team-oriented environments

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience with workflow and process improvement methodology and technology solutions
  • Law firm and/or Knowledge Management experience is preferred
